One of the best times of the day for photography is in the Golden Hour, the short period of time at the beginning and the end of the day when the sun rises and sets. In this period, the sky can turn into a variety of warm colours, from pastoral pinks and oranges to a striking 'blood' red.

James has been fortunate enough to capture many of these spectacular sunrises and sunsets on his travels all around Great Britain. They are two of his favourite photography subjects, because of the beautiful colours that they produce.
