James first visited the Highlands of Scotland in the Spring of 2014 and immediately fell in love with the incredible landscapes that unfolded in front of him. Since that first visit, James has returned to Scotland at least twice a year, looking to find new places to explore and photograph.

Not only are the Highlands a draw, the tragic history of the Tay Bridge and the remarkable construction of the Forth Bridge are of real interest to James before he visited for the first time. After seeing both up close and personal, they have become favourite places to photograph, along with a number of other structures in Edinburgh and Inverness, where James spends a lot of his time while in Scotland.

The Highlands and Structures Collection was made to showcase some of the most picturesque natural locations and striking man-made structures in Scotland. From the iconic Forth and Tay Bridges to the spectacular Lochs and Glens of the Cairngorms and Highlands of Scotland, this album has it all.
