My name is James Corben, and for the past 10 years, photography has been my passion.

I got into photography after my Dad took me to photograph a steam train pass through my local railway station. Although the resulting photographs were not the best I'll ever take, I became hooked on the railways and photography.

Between 2006 and 2013, it was very rare for me to spend a weekend away from a railway, but towards the end of 2013, I started to learn about other photography styles. Since then, I've travelled thousands of miles from Penzance in Cornwall to Wick in Scotland photographing some of the most iconic engineering structures, buildings, steam locomotives and landscapes, as well as concert photography in 2015 and wildlife photography from the start of 2016.

My equipment includes a Nikon D7000 with a wide variety of Nikon lens' for my stills photography, and a Panasonic HS-900 (complete with Rode NTG-2 microphone) for my video work.

For further information on me or my work, then please do not hesitate to contact me using the form on the right - I endevour to respond to messages as quickly as possible!
